Youghal is a seaside town in County Cork, Ireland; During the Irish potato famine in the mid-19th century there were riots in Youghal when peasants attempted to confiscate a boat load of Irish oats that was leaving Youghal harbour destined to be shipped to England; Provenance: Private Collection.
