        English School, (19th century). Medium: engraving. Date: 1858. Lismore Castle, County Waterford, Ireland; A large neo-gothic castle that belongs to the Dukes of Devonshire; In 1850 the 6th Duke (1790-1858) engaged the architect Sir Joseph Paxton (1808-1865) to carry out alterations to the castle's appearance and the facade as it is seen today, completed in 1858, is largely Paxton's work; Provenance: Private Collection.
