        Campbell, Colen (1676-1729) (after); British. Medium: engraving. Date: 18th Century. Chevening House in Kent was built by the architect Inigo Jones (1573-1652) in the 17th century; Chevening was the seat of the Earls Stanhope until the house was bequeathed to the nation by the 7th and last Earl Stanhope when he died in 1967; The house is now the official residence of the Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom; Provenance: Private Collection.
