        Burgkmair, Hans (c.1473-1531) (after). Medium: woodcut. Date: 1511. Five blocks depicting a procession of the King of Cochin with natives of Africa, Arabia and India; This is an early copy of Burgkmair's 1508 woodcut of the King of Cochin that was an illustration of a report made by Balthasar Springer following the first voyage made by German merchants to Africa, Arabia and the East Indies; This block shows warriors following Cochin's palanquin; Cochin, now Kochi, is a major port city on the west coast of India, in the district of Kerala; Georg Glockendon (fl.1484-1514).
