        Bourne, John Cooke (1814-96); British. Medium: lithograph. Constructed in 1836-7, Wharncliffe Viaduct, the first major structure designed by engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel (1806-59), carries the Great Western Mainline across the Brent Valley.
