        Bell of Cumascach Mac Aillelo

        English School, (19th century). Medium: engraving. Date: 1892. Cumascach Mac Aillelo was the steward at Armagh monastery and died in 908 AD. This bell, upon which his name is inscribed, is made of cast bronze, 11 3/4 inches high and 8 inches across at the base. Provenance: Private Collection.
