        Vintners' Hall, Upper Thames Street, print made by R. Acon, c.1829-31

        Shepherd, Thomas Hosmer (1792-1864) (after). English. Medium: engraving. The Vintners' Company hall has been on Upper Thames Street since 1446. The building seen in this print is that which was built after the Great Fire of London in 1671. Upper Thames Street was widened in 1822 and the facade seen here was reduced and altered.
