        Shepherd, Thomas Hosmer (1792-1864) (after). English. Medium: engraving. The Mercers' Company is the premier Livery Company of the City of London. The facade of the hall which is seen here was built after the original hall was destroyed in the Great Fire of London in 1666. It was subsequently remodelled and then destroyed during the blitz. Provenance: Private Collection.
