        Somerville, Daniel (fl.1798-1825) (after); British. Medium: engraving. Date: 19th Century. Medieval tolbooth located on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. It served as the main jail and was a common place for public executions. The platform for executions was on the west facade. Provenance: Private Collection.
