        Cattermole, George (1800-68) (after). English. Medium: engraving. Date: 1844. Thomas Wentworth, 1st Earl of Strafford (1593-1641), Royalist statesman, saying farewell before his execution for spurious treason. He was blessed by Archbishop Laud (1573-1645), also a prisoner in the Tower of London at that time. Provenance: Private Collection.
