        English School, (12th century). Medium: stained glass. Date: 12th Century. Stonework and glass c.1180 and 19th century; oldest surviving glazed oculus; depicting the Old Law, symbolised by Moses and the Synagogue, surrounded by the cardinal virtues (Prudence, Justice, Temperence and Strength), with the prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Daniel in the half-roundels; Provenance: Canterbury Cathedral, Kent, UK.
