Abby: A sport is a great way to challenge your body and your mind. A sport is a game and just like all games, you need to follow the rules, rules like taking turns or staying inside the lines. Also just like all games, the goal is to earn the most points. Unlike some board games or card games, in sports you use your body along with your brain power and you can earn points for being fast or strong or having a certain skill. Swimming and running are sports where you earn points for being fast. Strength is an important part of lots of sports like wrestling or even bowling. And special skills like getting a basketball in a hoop, performing a beautiful cartwheel or getting a touch in fencing will all earn you more points.

Abby: You might like sports that you do by yourself or with a team. But the most amazing thing about all sports is that we get to spend time with our friends. And when we cheer for each other, we all get faster, stronger and more skilled.
