Kids voices: [in unison] Go outside and play.

[Music]

[kids shouting and laughing]

Abby: Inside the school building, there are adventures all day long. In math, in science, in literacy. But recess is the time when we get to go outside to play.

[Music]

Abby: Ready? Set? Go!

[Music]

Abby: Do you have some friends that you like to play with at recess?

Yeah.

Abby: Where are they? They're everywhere, aren't they?

Yeah.

Abby: Yes, they are.

[Music]

Abby: So sometimes you get recess up to three times a day? Does recess give you big muscles? Can I see them? Yeah, there they are. Good muscles, buddy. [chuckles]

[Music]

You drop it and then, just left or whatever.

Abby: All right. You ready? Just like this. Here I go.

You can do it, Kaylee. I know you can.

Abby: Why do you think you come out for recess?

Oh, to have fun and like because inside, we do a lot of learning, and then recess is like a brain break.

Abby: Oh, I love that!

[kids shouting and laughing]

Abby: It has been an amazing day at recess today! There's a few minutes left, we could go on.

Kids voices: [in unison] Yeah!
